A regional Centre of Expertise on Education for Sustainable Development (RCE) is a network of existing formal, non-formal and informal education for sustainable development(ESD) to local and regional communities. Since 2005, we have been working hard to spread messages of ESD with RCEs in the Asia-Pacific regions, we have launched the Tongyeong Education Foundation for Sustainable Development in 2010, 5 years after becoming an RCE, we opened ‘Sejahtera Forest’ in May 2015 as the first ESD specialized education institute and the platform to promote ESD and RCEs network in Aisa-Pacific regions. As a member of the Key Partner Network of UNESCO Global Action Programme on Education for Sustainable Development for last 5 years, Sejahtera Centre aims to contribute to promote ESD and work together in regions including schools, youths, administration, and civil organizations.
